What happens if I put a Sony Cybershot TX5 camera in my chlorinated, and bleached pool?

I really want to get the Sony Cybershot TX5 camera. It seems, pretty much, amazing. I’m about to get it, but I’m unsure if I will be able to go in my pool with it. I saw some videos on Youtube of people in a pool, but I’m not convinced. If it can’t be put in chlorine, what really good camera would you recommend for me that can be put in chlorine, saltwater(ocean water), and is freeze proof? I am fourteen so I don’t want a big bulky camera, I need one that’s thin, but waterproof. PLEASE HELP ME!

The Sony TX5 is waterproof down to a level of 3 meters (10ft) for up to 60 mins continuous use. Water is water, whether it’s salt or chlorinated, so yes, of course you can use it in the pool.

Just make sure you carefully read the care and handling instructions found in the User Manual. Most of these cameras should be lightly rinsed under running water or submerged in fresh water after use, so be sure to take proper care of it, by knowing how best to treat it after you have used it in the pool or at the beach.

Canon D10 (but it’s quite bulky).
Panasonic DMC-TS1
Pentax Optio W60.

I wouldn’t recommend Olympus or Fujifilm waterproof cameras, because (from the same above test results) you can see that they are poor performers and have poor image quality.
